Description: Create, use, and take data on the progress of students while they learn the art of writing for communication and expression with Boardmaker Online. How? This session will introduce users of Boardmaker Online to the different types of on-screen Writing Templates in the program. Demonstration of placing content in the writing templates and accessibility options for students using them in the web players will also be covered. Session qualifies for .1 ASHA CEU credits.
Enid Hurtado received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential in Special Education: Moderate to Severe from San Diego State University. She worked as a Special Education Teacher for 6 years in California and Colorado with children of varying disabilities, Pre-12. After leaving the public school system, she worked as a behavior specialist for an Early Intervention Program. She currently educates and trains parents and professionals on the use of Boardmaker products for instruction.
