Join this session to learn how to assign on-screen interactive activities to students, provide access to their account via the web player on a computer or an iPad to parents/guardians, track different types of data, and customize activities to provide review, practice and maintenance at home like you can at school.
Participants will be able to:
1. Describe how to assign homework using Boardmaker Online.
2. Assess progress towards IEP goals and educational standards using Boardmaker Online
3. Demonstrate how to associate language arts activities with student IEP goals and state educational standards.
Enid Hurtado received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential in Special Education: Moderate to Severe from San Diego State University. She worked as a Special Education Teacher for 6 years in California and Colorado with children of varying disabilities, Pre-12. After leaving the public school system, she worked as a behavior specialist for an Early Intervention Program. She currently educates and trains parents and professionals on the use of Boardmaker products for instruction.
