Creating Recordable Activities with Boardmaker Online

Have you ever wished there were activities in Boardmaker Online that allow students to record their own voices as responses while doing their assignments?  Good news! There are easy-to-use templates for recordable books, flashcards, question & answer activities and more!  And the recorded responses are saved as data that you can review any time! This web training will introduce several Boardmaker Activity Starter templates that incorporate recorded student responses.  We will show you how they work and how to use them to create your own unique Boardmaker Online activities to address speech, language, and academic objectives. Activities that students can complete at school, at home, anywhere!

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this session, participants were able to:

  • List 3 benefits of interactive, onscreen activities that incorporate spoken, recorded student responses.
  • Describe how recordable student responses are beneficial for home carryover activities.
  • Tell how data from recordable activities is accessed and shared with other professionals.
  • List recordable activity starter templates that may be used for articulation, auditory processing, language, and academic objectives.
