Wed, May 28, 2014 3:00 PM EDT

Are you looking forward to summer? Are you concerned that your child’s ADHD symptoms might get in the way of a happy vacation?

Most families affected by ADHD often have to plan for the changes in routine when school closes for the summer break. New activities and routines often take the place of the ones from the school year and the family calendar can seem to overflow with:

  • Swim lessons
  • Sporting events
  • Camp trips, summer programs or summer treatment activities
  • Summer school
  • Family trips
  • …and more!

Clinical psychologist Ann Abramowitz, PhD, will tackle the questions of summertime parenting skills head-on during this Ask the Expert Webcast:

  • How can you help your child maintain a routine without the structure of the school day?
  • What ideas and skills can help to manage symptoms and allow your child and family enjoy the summer break?

Join us for a special summer parenting webcast that will offer some great ideas to getting the summer break started right!
