Families of service members are affected by ADHD just as their civilian counterparts. Children may be attending schools on military establishments, families may be living abroad with their service member and educational or medical resources for ADHD may be differently available for them.
Hebdon, founder of Specialized Training of Military Parents (STOMP)
will discuss with
available resources, educational rights and how to find help when
one or both parents are active service members.
STOMP is a federally funded Parent Training and Information (PTI) Center established to assist military families who have children with special education or health needs and is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
